I’ll go ahead and welcome all the thumbs down I will get for my answer, but here it goes…
How nauseating is it to hear “her” write about knowing the meaning of life (notice that I put her in quotations because that blog message was almost certainly not written by her). I mean come on lady…You aren’t a philosopher.
And I find it very insulting that she claims to feel for the American people who are struggling with a tough economy and all of that, yet she opens a school in AFRICA. Sure I’m all for helping other people, after the people HERE IN OUR HOMELAND our helped first. Why doesn’t she build a school in New Orleans or in some inner city? I mean let’s face it, outside of the United States, virtually the entire tennis world loathes Serena Williams. You can quote me on that. So instead of gushing over her fans in the blog, why doesn’t she do something for them? I’m not one to tell people how to spend their money, but if you are going to pretend to be the female American representative in tennis, then why the hell are you building schools in freaking Nigeria? Whatever, her money. Just my opinion.
Also on a side note, why do black celebrities only ever have charities for black people. If someone can give me an example of a black celebrity having a charity that is not specifically aimed at helping blacks then I will go out tomorrow and buy a gun and blow my freaking brains out. Can you imagine if Maria Sharapova started a whites only school in Russia? I’m sure that would go over well with Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.
